With just 2 weeks to go, could American voters elect Barack Obama, not by a landslide, but an avalanche? National tracking and state polls show a trend towards Obama. He's picking up voters in all age groups and in all sectors of society. But what if this trend hasn't yet peaked. What if it has only just begun? Could he really get 490 Electoral Votes? |

Has all the negative campaigning and fear-mongering, put America on a dangerous road. We expect elections to be tough and we expect candidate to be put under the microscope. But is it getting more sinister than a bit of hardball politicking? According to a model developed by Genocide Watch, the USA could be halfway to mass slaughter. |

The presidential campaign has, in anyone's book, been far too negative and aggressive. So it's welcome that the last two days have seen an injection of humour into the Presidential campaign. Obama and McCain shared the stage at the Alfred E Smith memorial dinner, trading jokes and making fun of the campaign trail. McCain finally turned up for the Dave Letterman show and Joe Biden did a turn on Jay Leno. With Palin appearing on SNL this week also, maybe the campaign trail just took a turn for the better...? |

Now, I know that many Americans don't give a rats ass about how the rest of the world sees them. But nonetheless, they're being watched closely this election cycle. The rest of the world is powerless to intervene in what it sees as the biggest decision America has ever taken. And they're impotent at the fact that the decision could be made by the people they see chanting racist slogans and eating moose burgers. |

After hotly denying that his campaign has been too negative, McCain and his supporters continue their hate filled spiral into Hell. From racist accusations to scare tactics and more racist campaign posters, the Republican party seem determined to follow the mantra, if it ain't working, do more of it. |

In last night's presidential debate, John McCain took a swipe at health care in England, asserting that it's a just a state-controlled bureaucracy.Well, I've worked in that "bureaucracy" for nearly on 20 years, managing multi-million pound services, and I've done a little comparison. And it doesn't look good for Mr McCain's ideas. |

With God attracting so much attention this election cycle, there's one question that literally nobody is asking. How might the economic meltdown affect the Lord? And what does He think is the solution?Whilst I wouldn't be so presumptuous to know the mind of God, I have some thoughts on how Divine Intervention might be the ultimate October Surprise.

More mixed messages from the McCain camp about tomorrows final debate. Will John McCain cave in to his supporters and finally say it to Obama's face?Today, McCain suggested that he was going to "take the gloves off" and have it out with Obama about his associations with Bill Ayers. However in an interview with Dana Base on CNN, he said "Very frankly, Dana, I don't give a damn about an old unrepentant terrorist." So what's going to happen?

I live in a democracy. It's called United Kingdom. You may be also living in a democracy. It may even have a name. Our democracies are so certain that democracy is right, that they want other countries to be a democracy too. If other countries don't want to be a democracy, then we send in tanks and guided missiles with big slogans on them saying "Democracy is Great" |

US Elections 08
Not that we're partisan, but we're really glad the moose-hunting psychopath didn't make it to the White House. Completely impartial observations from across the Pond.
Social Control
So, you think politicians are in charge? Think again. Breaking free from the shackles of mind control
Random Musings
Sometimes we write stuff that just won't go anywhere else. General insane and random mumblings from the minds of deranged fools.
