Has all the negative campaigning and fear-mongering, put America on a dangerous road.  We expect elections to be tough and we expect candidate to be put under the microscope.

The presidential campaign has, in anyone's book, been far too negative and aggressive.  So it's welcome that the last two days have seen an injection of humour into the Presidential campaign.

Obama and McCain shared the stage at the Alfred E Smith memorial dinner, trading jokes and making fun of the campaign trail.  McCain finally turned up for the Dave Letterman show and Joe Biden did a turn on Jay Leno.  With Palin appearing on SNL this week also, maybe the campaign trail just took a turn for the better...? 

Now, I know that many Americans don't give a rats ass about how the rest of the world sees them.  But nonetheless, they're being watched closely this election cycle.  

After hotly denying that his campaign has been too negative, McCain and his supporters continue their hate filled spiral into Hell.  

From racist accusations to scare tactics and more racist campaign posters, the Republican party seem determined to follow the mantra, if it ain't working, do more of it. 

In last night's presidential debate, John McCain took a swipe at health care in England, asserting that it's a just a state-controlled bureaucracy.

Well, I've worked in that "bureaucracy" for nearly on 20 years, managing multi-million pound services, and I've done a little comparison. And it doesn't look good for Mr McCain's ideas.

With God attracting so much attention this election cycle, there's one question that literally nobody is asking.  How might the economic meltdown affect the Lord?  And what does He think is the solution?
